It does exactly what it supposed to do, better than the one I bought from the pet shop. The pet fountains is quiet, and all three of our cats like drinking from it. Most importantly to us, it is very easy to clean. Once a week I take it apart and wash it in sudsy water. (Other fountains we have tried would get disgusting green gunk buildup in crevasses that could not easily be cleaned.) Highly recommended. Missy
